The Lord is our helper. He is the one who we can run to and go to for every choice. Where are you looking for help? Is it with friends? People? To get wise Godly counsel is what the Bible teaches but not instead of coming to The Lord! Come to the Lord and seek Godly counsel.
“Folly is joy to him who is destitute of discernment, But a man of understanding walks uprightly. Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established.”Proverbs 15:21-22 NKJV
“Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.” Psalms 54:4 NKJV
He wants you to come to Himself. He’s the same yesterday today and forever. Often times it can be hard to come to Him first. Brothers and sisters be encouraged, to look and asses why is it hard for me to come to God first as my helper? Or what makes it easy for me to come to The Lord.
What are you believing about God? We must replace any lie we believe about Him with truth. He is a SAFE place to be HONEST and VULNERABLE with. He is the one person in our lives that will never leave us or forsake us.
He wants us to run to His arms, often times though it is because we have a miss understanding of who He is that gets in the way of us running to Him. Whether it be a lie, a habit or running to people first, a lack of conscious awareness of going to people before God. All habits need to be broken, relax and allow God to change your thinking to be fully dependent upon Him as our fortress. Humans are humans we mess up, but God is the same yesterday today and forever.
Preserve: To keep or save from injury or destruction; to defend from evil.

HES GOT YOU! When we spend time with someone we start to get to know them and trust forms. Be encouraged to spend time with the Lord. And deeper trust will be created. Trust also is a choice, so choose to trust God even when you can’t see all the details.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;” Psalms 139:23 NKJV
Spend time getting to know the Lord. He delights and wants to show you the truth of His word. Take time. What we place as valuable we spend our time with or doing.
